Hello, we are the Commerce & Contract Management Institute or CCM Institute for short. We are going to refer to ourselves in this policy as CCM Institute. There are three companies that are part of the CCM Institute, and this Privacy Policy applies to all three:

CCM Institute is committed to protecting your privacy. We have prepared this Policy to describe to you our practices regarding the Personal Data we collect from you, how we protect it and respect your privacy. If you have any questions about this Policy, then please contact privacy@ccm.institute.
Types of data we collect
CCM Institute collects Personal Data and Anonymous Data from you when you visit our site, use or participate in our services or when you send us information or communications.
“Personal Data” means data that allows someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, as well as any information about you that is associated with or linked to any of the foregoing data.
“Anonymous Data” means data that is not associated with or linked to your Personal Data; Anonymous Data does not permit the identification of individual persons.
Sometimes you provide us with data and sometimes data about you is collected automatically.
Below we describe when and how we collect data.
Personal data
You provide to us
When you download a report from our website or when you choose to use or participate in the various services that we offer, we collect the following types of data: First Name, Last Name, Job title, Organization, Email address, Country of Residence, Membership status (to know whether you are a member of NCMA, WorldCC, both, or neither).
We may also collect other types of Personal Data that you provide to us voluntarily, such as: Secondary email address, Telephone number, Postal Address, Zip/postal code.
If you choose to sign up for any pay services, we will collect financial data from you, such as: Billing Address, Bank Account Number, Sort code, Credit or Debit Card details.
We collect from you
To make our services more useful to you, we may use technological means to collect Personal Data from you, including: Your Internet Protocol (IP) address – which we may track solely in conjunction with cookies, Login information, The Uniform Resource Locator (URL) you just came from, The URL you go to next, Your browser type.
An “IP Address” is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet. In some cases, your IP address stays the same from browser session to browser session; but if you use a consumer Internet access provider, your IP address may vary from session to session. We track IP addresses solely in conjunction with Cookies to analyze our web page flow.
We also collect data on how you use the CCM Institute website, such as: Your URL clickstreams (the path you take through our site), Products and services that you have viewed, Page response times, Download errors, How long you stay on our pages, What you do on those pages, how often and other actions.
Anonymous data
We may create Anonymous Data records from your Personal Data by excluding information that makes the data personally identifiable to you. We use this Anonymous Data to:
- Perform statistical analyses of user behavior so that we may enhance the content of our services and improve site navigation
- Report results of surveys and research that we have undertaken
- CCM Institute may use and disclose Anonymous Data to third parties.
Cookies
We use cookies and we ask you to expressly consent to our use of cookies. Unless you adjust your browser settings to refuse them then we will issue cookies whenever you engage with CCM Institute.
“Cookies” are small pieces of information that a Web site sends to your computer’s hard drive while you are viewing a Web site. CCM Institute uses both session cookies (which expire once you close your Web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience on our site.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. You can at any time change or withdraw your consent via the Cookie Settings link in the website footer. When you contact us regarding your consent, please state your consent ID, which can be found via the Cookie Settings link in the website footer under ‘Show details’.
Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can disable this function by changing the cookie profile on your computer's web browser. If you disable your cookies, however, you will not have access to member-only sections of this site, which require login. CCM Institute does not store any Personal Data in cookies on your computer.
Use and disclosure of your personal data
Data protection law means that we can only use your data for certain reasons and where we have a legal reason to do so.
We do not sell, trade, or rent the Personal Data collected from our services to third parties.
When we collect your data through the CCM Institute Website, we will pass it on to either WorldCC or NCMA or both based on your preferences indicated on the webform you complete. As soon as we do so, the Privacy Policies of NCMA or WorldCC (or both) will apply to the use of your Personal Data. They are available at:
Once we have shared your Personal Data, CCM Institute will delete your data within 31 days.
Sometimes we use third parties to support us in providing services to you. If we share your Personal Data with a third party, you will always have the right to immediately opt out of communications from them.
Please note that, where required by law, we will not send you marking communications without your consent, and again you always have the right to opt-out of such communications.
If you send a testimonial to us, we may ask you whether we can post it on our site and attribute it to you by posting your title and name next to your testimonial.
Security of your personal data
CCM Institute is committed to protecting the security of your Personal Data and we have physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.
We use a variety of industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
On most of our sites, CCM Institute enables the use of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide secure communication over the Internet. SSL can be engaged by choosing to switch to SSL during any interaction in which you enter Personal Data.
We store Personal Data behind a computer firewall, a barrier designed to prevent outsiders from accessing our servers. We also require you to enter a password to access your account information.
WorldCC protects your Personal Data from unauthorized physical access by storing your Personal Data in a controlled facility.
CCM Institute limits access to Personal Data in electronic databases to those persons (including employees and contractors) in WorldCC's organization who have a business need for such access.
Please remember: Even though CCM Institute has taken significant steps to ensure that your Personal Data is not intercepted, accessed, used, or disclosed by unauthorized persons, you should know that it is impossible for WorldCC to eliminate all security risks associated with Personal Data.

Complaints
CCM Institute constantly strives to adhere with data protection laws and the terms of this Policy, however, if you believe that we have failed in that effort, please contact us by e-mail at privacy@ccm.institute. We will do everything we can to address your concerns. If you feel that your complaint has not been addressed completely, you may escalate this to our Board of Directors for further investigation. If we are unable to reach a resolution, then we will refer the dispute to the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution: cpradr.org
